Groupy's Refund Policy

When you purchase a Deal (for example, by clicking "BUY NOW"), you enter into a binding commitment to purchase the relevant goods and/or services (whether directly or through a Voucher) and to your credit or debit card being charged if the minimum number of purchases for the Deal is met.

Except as required by law, once purchased, goods and/or services cannot be cancelled, redeemed for cash, exchanged or refunded.

However, we will provide a refund of the purchase price that you paid for your Voucher if you are unable to redeem your Voucher because the business providing the Deal (a) closes down or (b) refuses to honour the Voucher. The following terms and conditions apply: To be eligible for a refund, you must have complied with our Terms of Service and with any additional terms and conditions set out in relation to your Deal. For example, you will not be eligible for a refund if the terms state that bookings are essential and you try to redeem your Voucher without a booking, or the Voucher is only valid at a certain location and you try to redeem it at a different location.

To be eligible for a refund, you must have tried but been unable to redeem your Voucher. We will not provide refunds if you do successfully redeem your Voucher but are unhappy with the goods or services provided. If this happens, please contact the business that provided the Deal.

The maximum amount of a refund is the purchase price that you paid for your Voucher. We will not provide refunds for any other damage or loss suffered by you as a result of being unable to redeem your Voucher. For example, we will not provide compensation for loss of time or travelling costs.

We will provide refunds for Vouchers given as gifts to friends and family if they meet the terms and conditions above. Any refund will be given to you (as purchaser) rather than to your friends or family member. To apply for a refund, please contact us within one week of being unable to redeem your Voucher on 0800 GROUPY or support@groupy.co.nz.
